Every Ingersoll Rand machine has a list of service parts that keep it running: oil filters, air filters, separators, lubricants, valves and more. These parts look similar across models, but fitment is model-specific. Ordering by description alone is the fastest way to receive a part that does not fit — and every wrong part means extra shipping time and extra downtime for your plant.
The number stamped or printed on the part itself is the only identification the factory and your supplier can rely on. Everything else is just a description.
Where to find your part number
- On the part itself. Most filters, separators and service kits carry the part number printed on the label or stamped on the end cap. Remove the old part carefully and photograph the label before it gets oily or damaged.
- In the parts manual for your machine. Each model has its own parts list, and the number in the manual is the definitive number for your unit.
- On previous service paperwork. If your maintenance team ordered the part before, the number is likely on the invoice or service record.
- On the service kit list. Many maintenance routines are grouped into kits; the kit number can help us identify the right components when individual numbers are not visible.
- From the machine nameplate. Even without the part number, the model and serial number on the nameplate let us trace the correct parts list and confirm fitment for you.
What to send when requesting a quote
To get an accurate quotation quickly, include:
- The part number(s) and quantity.
- Machine model and serial number (a photo of the nameplate is ideal).
- A photo of the old part or its label, especially if the number is faded or unclear.
- Your delivery country, so we can confirm shipping options.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Mixing up similar series. Numbers from the RM series and R series are easy to confuse. Always take the number from your own machine documentation.
- Assuming an old number is still current. Part numbers are sometimes superseded by the manufacturer. If you cannot find the number you expected, send it to us — we check for the current equivalent before you order.
- Buying on description only. “Oil filter for Ingersoll Rand” identifies dozens of different filters. The number is what makes the match exact.
If you are unsure, our job is to confirm before you order. Send us your part number or machine details through the contact page, browse the spare parts range, or message us on WhatsApp — we confirm price, availability and lead time for every inquiry.
